About Love

ABOUT LOVE
The story about love is written by a well-known Russian Dramatist and short story writer Anton Chekhov. In the story the writer has described the love affairs and how it differs from situation to situation.
First love affairs between Nikanor and Palageya
In the story the first love affairs is between Nikanor, the cook in a restaurant and Palageya, a beautiful lady who works in the same restaurant with Nikanor. Palageya loves Nikanor but does not want to marry because Nikanor used to drink everyday and beat her. In the story, what he thinks that, it is antireligious work living with a girl before marriage.
Second love affairs between Alyohin and a girl of same University
When he was at the University he fell in love with a girl. She used to think about money every time that Alyohin was going to give her and what she could buy.
Third love affairs between Alyohin and Anna
The love started when Alyohin got a part time job in town as the honorary justice of peace. Through his work he met Dmitry Luganovich, the husband of Anna who invited Alyohin to his house for dinner. Alyohin immediately took a strong liking towards Anna “Here was a young, beautiful, kind, intelligent, enchanting woman.” However, he felt to act on his love for Anna because he did not want to destroy the mutual relation between wife and husband.
At the dinner, Alyohin and Dmitry Luganovich were talking about a trial of an arson in which Alyohin highly believe that the convicted Jews were not treated in reasonable ground. Alyohin could not help but notice that Anna was shocked by the kids. Alyohin believed that Dmitry was a good man yet a firm believer that, when people are convicted they are guilty. Alyohin saw an illusion that Anna was enjoying her life and did not pay any attention to him. The family of Luganovich had to move so that Alyohin want to say good-bye to Anna inside of the train. They both cried and held each other. He kissed Anna and told that he loved her. But because Anna was leaving and they both should be separate for ever.
